How do I get skins?

Where and when every skin is obtainable:

1. Permanent skins. Store skins are locked behind sovereigns, added often and very rarely removed. Antique Attire Chest skins (G-Menu base chest) are RNG, opened with keys you earn as you play.
2. Battle Pass skins. Present in the season they release, with a recolor of the Pass 100 step available that season through Fame donations. They return as a recolor in the Seasonal Store next season, and again 3 to 4 seasons later.
3. Event timed skins. Christmas, Halloween and so on, often re-introducing skins from previous years.
4. Legendary / event skins. Present during their event, usually re-introduced over the next few seasons, and once old enough they can be exchanged in the Attire Exchange (G-Menu bottom left) for Curios from salvaged skins.
5. Tournament, pack and reward skins. Tournament rewards, pre-order or other packs, community event or TW skins (the seasonal House lead holding the capital). Most of these are unique and never obtainable again.
