- Yes, the Epic Schematic is highly valuable. It provides CC immunity during your ultimate, adds +10% HP and boost weapon dance DMG reduction by 75% of the base value; so its 75% of 25% (not +75% flat) and offers other significant bonuses that enhance both survivability and utility. But it is playable without it. Name: Fearless Paladin Armour

Playstyle
Different Playstyles:
-
Tanky + Full Unit CC This playstyle focuses on crowd control (CC), aiming to lock down enemy heroes and units for extended periods. Key skills are Pushback, Weapon Dance, and The Old Billhook.
- Pushback instantly removes you from CC while also stunning enemies hit, making it a crucial survival and disruption tool.
- Weapon Dance debuffs enemy units by reducing their damage and movement speed, while boosting your defensive stats for 6 seconds based on how many enemies you hit.
- For your ultimate, either works: one offers full hero CC to pin down enemies, while the other delivers burst damage with minor CC spread across 5 waves. I recommend the 5 waves CC ultimate as it will help you win a lot of units trade.
-
Full Damage (Glass Cannon) This aggressive playstyle emphasizes maximizing damage at the cost of defense. You’ll use Pushback, The Old Billhook, and either Halberdiers Thrust (for heroes) or Bec de Corbin (for units).
- Halberdiers Thrust excels at dealing damage to enemy heroes, while Bec de Corbin is designed to cleave through enemy units.
- For the ultimate, Lochabar Strike is recommended for its burst damage, though both ultimates are viable depending on the situation.
Tips
Vs class who don’t have cleanse/is on cooldown you should think about rotating one shift-auto-attack between each CC, so: dismount - shift aa - push back - shift aa - billhook - shift aa - blabla or w/e depending on your spell set
Cancel animation = block after spell / after roll, roll to cancel end of spell, if you are holding the block button, and do a spell in a short window after getting hit, you will block and do a spell at the same time.
Dismount into weapon dance is key to carry fight, keep your ultimate to CC none-cci units or cci units on their down time.
