Guide
Playstyle
- Stack them first (40 unit kills or 8 hero kills, or a mix of both) until you take them out. This unlocks their advanced abilities. Stacks even when unit isn’t deployed, from both hero kills AND unit kills
- Then play in blob. Skill 1 ignores most shields and does insane DMG. Skill 2 to reposition and dodge potential threats
- Artemis and Arrow Rain DON’T stack
- Normal combo: 1, Arrow Rain, V+Artemis, 1 (wait for each step to end before going to next). You can play without Artemis and just skip that step

Mandatory
- Bowmanship Doctrine V (MANDATORY: Arrow Rain deals 75% of unit’s base piercing per hit, +150 piercing DMG, allows you to shoot where you want with increased range, aim-bots to closest target in circle)
- Projectile Doctrine V (+60% ammo, +50 piercing AP)
- Precision Doctrine V (+120 piercing DMG, +80 piercing AP, +9% rate of fire)
Top Pick
- Artemis (archer-shared: Unlocks Double Strings, fires 2 arrows per shot for 12s, 40s CD, can’t combine with other actives except Overwatch)
- Epic Leadership Doctrine (replaces Unit DMG V on this unit, only unit in the game where Leadership is more value than Unit DMG)
- Whistling Arrow Doctrine V (alt for Artemis: every 3 hits inflict bleeding for 12% current health, can trigger in concert with other units, enables hit at weak points, GREAT in duo-Hwarang)

Arrow Rain is MANDATORY because normal V is really bad on Hwarang. Arrow Rain lets you shoot anywhere with increased range, no aim needed, will aim-bot the closest target in the circle.
Whistling Arrow Doctrine V is the duo-play swap: if you and an ally both run Hwarang, replace Artemis with Whistling Arrow on at least one of the two units (bleed triggers compound across both Hwarang units).
