How does the armour system work?

There are three armor types: Light, Medium and Heavy. Weapons are restricted by armor type, you cannot equip a heavier weapon in lighter armor, but you can equip a lighter weapon in heavier armor. In general light armor suits hero killers, heavy armor suits units, support and tanking, and medium is a balanced mix.
